So I'm an idiot. I somehow screwed up the other blog I had going while messing with it in my HTML editor (right, right) and rendered my other page unoperable, as well as pissing myself off in the process. Since I hadn't posted too too many posts there anyhow I just went ahead & started a new one. I hope you don't mind.

Begging your indulgence (he said to himself) here's the only two posts from that page I care to save:

Okey Dokey.
Started more work on site, mainly getting the pages to exist and a digital art (stuff I made in the computer, natch) gallery up. Check out "WACKY". Will have a Physical Art (ie: Prints and stuff I did with my hands) Gallery up next week probably, since I'm going to be busy trying to print the last bit of SG12 covers (about 70 to complete the run of 200 once & for all) up for FLUKE (see sidebar) as well as make some kind of new mini comic in time for that too. Wish me luck.

News items as they come will be posted on the sidebar to the left here <

I think the TV is still more dangerous than the PC.. if I could only program it to show the stuff I need to see and not an endless stream of mediocre but somehow appealing shows that suck me deeper into the couch. Don't you dare say TiVO is the solution, either. I'll kill you.

Man am I lame. I haven't written anything on this page in a while & I haven't done shit to the site in general except fix the orderform for paypal on the regular studygroup12.com site.. I promise in the coming week the gallery of digital art for my studio will be ready at least.

Talice & I are going to Athens to take part in FLUKE, a new underground comix/zine/whatever festival.. the show is at Tasty World in Athens on the 19th, this coming sat... Should be fun. Will update later on that..

Here's my "best music of the year" list for 2001 in
no particular order:

No-Neck Blues Band - Sticks And Stones Will Break My Bones, But Names Will Never Hurt Me (Revenant)
Bjork -Vespertine(elektra)
Lightning Bolt -Ride the Skies (Load)
Prefuse 73 -Vocal Studies + Uprock Narratives (Warp)
Bablicon -A Flat Inside a Fog/ The Cat that Was A Dog... (Misra)
Fennesz -Endless Summer (Mego, Austria)
Acid Mother's Temple.. - New Geocentric Worlds (squealer)
Bardo Pond - Dilate (matador)
Aesop Rock - Labor Days (def Jux)
Electric Birds- Panorama ((deluxe)
Alog - Duck-Rabbit (Rune Grammophone)
Evan Parker -Evan Parker with Strings (Emanem)
Terry Riley/Bang on a Can - In C
Spring Heel Jack - Masses
The Silver Mt. Zion Memorial Orchestra & Tra-La-La Band - Born Into Trouble As the Sparks Fly Upward ( Constellation)
Tagaki Masakatsu - Pia (carpark)
Marumari - Supermogodan (carpark)

Comps:
Hava Narghile v.1 (dionysius) - Turkish Psych from the 60's & 70's
Every free cd that comes with the Wire magazine subscription(get it now)
Sound Collector 6 magazine had an excellent comp also
V/A -Freakbitchlickfly (violent turd) --Kid 606 & friends remixing Missy elliot??!!! Awesome
Immediate Action (Hefty) -- 2 cd hefty records comp.

Of course I haven't heard a lot of music this year, and I'm probably missing stuff that i've actually heard and just forgot, so I might update said list later (already done this once) .. Maybe I'll also try to think of a best comics of 2001 list too, which is for some reason very hard to wrap my brain around. Well, time for bed, or at least to try and read more actual physical text before I pass out. Good night to all the digital things out there.
