More work for hire, for the bar I work for. This is going to be in print in the Mercury's Eat and Drink Guide 2008. I'm pretty happy with how it came out, I scanned in the eagle from an old comic advert (for the bicentennial!) and did the rest by hand on the wacom tablet. I do wish I'd taken the time/thought to hand trace the fonts to integrate them more in with all the textured drawing and stuff

Just a little design I whipped up for an upcoming event at the bar I work at. It's two of the best DJs in Portland, and will appear in print in this weeks' Portland Mercury, which I'm actually kind of excited about.. I've had ads I've designed in print before but this is the first hand drawn stuff that I've had printed in the Merc.
